We want you to feel safe and secure when visiting our website. The following sections explain which information we record during your visit to the BIKOMA website and how it is used.

Personal data

Personal data relates to individual information about the personal or professional circumstances of a specific or definable individual person. This includes information such as your full name, address, telephone number and date of birth. Information that is not directly associated with your true identity (individual related data), such as favourite websites, IP addresses or the number of users on a site, does not fall under this category.

Collection and processing of personal data

When visiting our website, our web servers save individual related data on a temporary basis as standard in order to ensure system security. This includes the connection data of the com-puter connecting to the site (IP address), the pages you visit at our website, the date and du-ration of your visit, the identification data of the browser and operating system used, plus the website from which you are visiting us. This data is also evaluated for statistical purposes. A statistical evaluation of this type does not contain any personal data. No tracing of individual users takes place. Any other personal data (such as your name, address, telephone number or email address) is not recorded, unless the data is provided by you voluntarily as part of registration or a customer query, for example.

Use and forwarding of personal data

The personal data you provide is used by us to fulfil your wishes and requirements. In other words, it is normally used for processing contractual agreements made with you or to respond to your query. Only in cases where you have granted prior approval and/or where – as far as legally permissible – you have not raised any objections, do we use this information for product-related surveys or marketing purposes. We do not pass on, sell or otherwise make available your personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary for conclusion of the contract or you have given your express consent. For instance, it may be necessary to pass on your address and order details to our suppliers when ordering products. If transmission of personal data to external service partners is necessary for providing a service or answering a query, then the necessary technical and organisational measures are put in place to ensure that data protection regulations are adhered to. Additionally, our external service partners are also obliged to ensure that data protection regulations are adhered to, to handle personal data confidentially and to delete personal data immediately when it is no longer needed.
